Psalm 30:2 “Oh Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you healed me.”

Jesus cares for every detail of our lives, and we show that when we go and serve the people in Kenya through our five pillars. Health and Wellness is a big issue in the community. Most people are not getting the proper health care. When a person is not healthy in one area of life, this can affect their whole life. Simba holds medical clinics for the local communities we serve. During this process, our prayer is that they experience the love of Jesus in a deep and intimate way through the mighty healing power of Jesus.

In order to focus on health and wellness, we send medical and prayer teams once, if not twice, a year. These teams include nurses, medical doctors, chiropractors, dentists, ophthalmologists, students in those fields, and non- medical personnel. Our medical teams provide free healthcare and pray over the individuals they serve. We work with Kenyan nurses, doctors, and pharmacists who help in the prescribing and administering of medication. The county governments in Kenya make this possible by approving and providing support for our medical teams.

We make sure each team hosts a clinic at our school, performing annual checkups on all the children. We’ve seen many different cases, such as malaria, AIDS, scabies, ulcers, malnutrition, breast cancer, brain tumors, cataracts, urinary tract infections, spinal and extremity misalignments, high blood pressure, diabetes, and various wounds. If ever we can’t do anything for the patient, they are prayed over and referred to the closest hospital. We know that the Lord is the ultimate physician and healer. We have seen people healed in Jesus’ name, and we will continue to show the loving touch of Jesus.
