"My name is Josphine. I am 13 years old and from Eldoret, Kenya. I like going to school because I like reading and answering questions. When I grow up, I would like to be a doctor."
Situation: Josphine is a natural care taker and she has a lot of children that she loves and cares for. She and her two sisters were abandoned by their mom who had big dreams of living in a larger city. Josphine's aunt and uncle, Luke and Violet, quickly rescued the three
girls and took them in to live with their family. However, the aunt and uncle already had several children of their own, so life is a challenge. Violet and Luke take care of a landowners farm and they live in a very small farm house on the
property. Even though the house was full, the table was sometimes empty, they knew they had to take in these three girls.
