"My name is FAITH. I am 6 years old and from Eldoret, Kenya. I like going to school because I like to study and learn (and draw) and meet new friends. When I grow up, I would like to be a pilot."
Age: 6 (April 27, 2011)
Food: Rice and Potatoes
Hobby: Singing, Dancing
Hero: Kenya's Deputy President

Situation: Faith was abandoned by her mother at just 3 months old. Her mother left her at her sister’s house (Faith’s aunt) in the middle of the night. Faith’s aunt was unable to take care of her, so Faith went to stay with her mother’s aunt in Eldoret. They have been taking care of her ever since, but they have 3 kids of their own and 5 more children from the second wife. They have been struggling to keep Faith at
St. Jacob’s, as they have two children at college and three in high school. Faith’s mother’s aunt stays at home, while the other wife works as a teacher. The father works in the forests, selling trees. Faith would be very grateful for a sponsor and an opportunity to go to school.
